You will join at a fantastic time as they continue in a period of signifant growth due to the demand for their market leading sofware products. The company previously used Subversion as their source-control system but having moved to Perforce they require someone who can bring expertise in that area they currently do not have.

You will be part of a techncially strong software team who currently look after the build process but they want someone to take the burden from them and allow them to focus on the software development process.

To be considered your CV should demonstrate your experience in a Build Engineer role using Perforce, Hudson and Shell Scripting. If you have any knowledge of Java that would be highly beneficial to help understand the software product.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits

Your time will be split across the two different actitivities of software engineering and the software build process. This is going to be a great time to join as they are rapidly expanding based on the growth in their market and contracts they have won with an enviable list of global organisations.

Their software products are written in core Java with an Oracle backend and their build process is through Perforce source control systems (previously used Subversion). They expect you will have excellent knowledge of shell scripts on Linux, Ant, Oracle setup and admin and Tomcat (other apps servers also considered).

An opportunity has arisen for a Software Test Analyst to join our client, a leading provider of enterprise software to retailers worldwide.

This is a great opportunity for a software analyst with full life cycle testing experience, looking to develop their career in a dynamic and friendly environment.

As a Software Test Analyst, you will work closely with developers in the production and testing of cutting-edge software. Specifically you will be responsible for test planning and test execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

- All aspects of test planning (including formal reviews, analysing requirements and creating test cases)
- Executing test cases and accurately reporting results and progress
- Reporting, assigning and tracking resolution of software issues
- Retesting defects and providing sign-off or recommending remedial action

To be considered for the role of Software Test Analyst you will need to have full life cycle testing experience and hold an IT degree (or equivalent) or an ISEB accreditation (or equivalent). You will also need experience of automated testing tools and techniques.

Experience of the following is also essential:

- .Net and SQL Server 2005
- JIRA and Test Complete or similar
- Perforce or similar

Additionally as a Software Test Analyst you will be a proactive team player capable of contributing and implementing ideas. You will be methodical with a keen attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
